the original track (nearly 80 minutes) was conceived and created as a one-off cdr for a friend. i later decided to rework the piece, adding layers, making it 'lighter' and more interesting for the party for which it was intended. (i failed miserably in this attempt btw) Some months later i decided even my reworked version wasn't suitable and i then cut it into four tracks, remixing each, using different layers and mixing volumes...to be released on bandcamp as a free download...then, the bulk of the material, the FINAL, complete version of "you hope" was accidentally deleted. fortunately, i also uploaded this earlier, alternate (inferior) version as a 'bonus track'. now it's the only version left. curses!
