lyrics

*a repost of something lyndi and i wrote together on the fly and both posted on our blogs....we were lucky enough to find several new ways of communicating so much.... i loved her sincerely and intensely...here's to her memory...*

"lyndi was going to record a vocal reading of one of our poems; unfortunately she died before this could be accomplished. as i listen to the last track now i find that it is a good meditative instr. piece as is...

one of our writings is included. this piece was written, improvised by lyndi and i several years ago. here i have removed the structure of the original writing, time stamps etc. intended lyrics for track 11: vocals never recorded.

this is the last of the lackthrow - Lyndi series. it was begun just over 10 years ago and the whole thing is a....

sad, that..."
'she loves me, she loves me not'
"...those petals lied"
bled.. and cried
caught and threw back
fell backwards in time
forward bliss
i point.
open arms
widened eyes
wonder and cherished
like a child, surrounded
darkness defeated
dirt swept.. yet believing
believed misunderstood
laughing.. and casting aside
nonviolent resistance
illusionary, stationary.
burning through fog
like fizzling webs caught up with dreams
drenched in power
lit with mindlessness
ever cascading light
focused only on being alone in this moment
forced extraction
hurt
pain
crying
timeless strength
comes from tears?

brilliant radiance
shines freshly
moist flesh
beading... droplets
pale and perfect
clear.. concise
tongue unbound
furious
ferocious love

i looked to the left just now
and saw the illusion of choice
like a painting on the wall.. too real
too severe to gaze upon
without eyes painfully recalling the previous
within ALL sight, revealing all
was one photo
speaking volumes, magnificent and horrendous in every way
raw.
gazing out upon an infinite ocean
faces all too real staring back.. unguided
unabashed truth
spoke for itself.. in whispers along the ocean waves that day
and in terrified glory
screamed with all the might one could imagine
let me be...let me be...let me be free
then it was night
but...it always is...always has been
once.. and again
.

fleshing child escapes
runs for his life
but his her is himself?
options exist but have been taken away in all honesty
this maze.. ahead of me.. all around me
extracting this blade from the heart, this blade of grass
bright red blood streams.. and its all too real
its surreal...too real to be, not withstanding an age to come
in the future... is the truth, withering.. waiting
withering and waiting, never ever ever fading
it lies.. in wait for that moment in time
no lies, from then till now, enshrouded in lies, whisked away in a moment, ever there
darkness clouding, whisking.. enveloping, doubting all surroundings.. to look is to be.. alive
far too happy to be alive, far too dead to dwell inside, living without momentary bliss, encased in wandering wonder
in need.. of finding.. that lightless corner..
eyes in adjustment, like planetary alignment
swirling about are pieces of what's left.. and inside.. finally, peace of mind
i (eye) seize you
conquer.. and keep you.
until the seas run dry, forever and again, another ever, foregoing previous woes, a miraculous circling, like vultures do
envisioning the dead as if it's necessary to live.. oh wait... it is..
and water flows or is left stagnant, lights below allude to a cinnamon refrain
and it comes to light again, and again, and again
and always will, a dark moon, rife with promises
keeping you.. and i... forever involved in this night
a night where the brightest light shines, a negative, a reversed concoction where all is known and everything is mysterious
a night that could only be left for you.
and you.
